AI is changing Everything

A Public on-ramp

This program is meant to help you navigate a world transformed by automation, AI, and now with federal layoffs—sudden shifts in the job market. With uncertainty clouding the years ahead, it’s clear: we need new tools, new skills, and new coalitions to help our communities adapt.

What you’ll do

Learn by doing

This isn’t a lecture series. This is a hands-on, peer-led cohort where every participant commits to developing a real, showcase-able project by the end of 12 weeks. You’ll join a “pod” of 3–7 collaborators working on themes like:

  • AI for community storytelling

  • Custom GPTs for small business tasks

  • Audio-to-text data workflows

  • Ethical AI for frontline services

  • Tools for navigating job transitions

You don’t need to be technical to participate. You just need to be curious, committed, and ready to contribute.

Building in public

We need you

As we design this pilot, we’re also building the support system around it.We’re looking for:

  • Mentors and subject-matter experts

  • Track leads to guide thematic focus areas

  • Working group coordinators to help teams move forward

  • Advisors to shape the tone and trajectory

If that sounds like you, raise your hand with our interest form.
